Cabs will probably be the easiest way to get around the city and won't cost more than $20 for most destinations.
If you are going to drive, there is a parking lot that can hold between 50 and 60 cars right across the street from the church's main entrance.
Directions to St. Clement:
--From within the city: Most cab rides to St. Clement’s Church from near downtown Chicago will be between $12 and $20.
--From 90/94: Exit 90/94 at the North Avenue exit. Take North Avenue East for approximately 0.9 miles.Turn left onto N. Halsted Street, heading North approximately 1.3 miles. Turn right on W. Wrightwood Avenue and go approximately 0.3 miles. Turn right on N. Clark Street and head back south one block. Turn right on W. Deming Place and head to end of the block. The Church will be on your right and the parking lot will be on your left.
--From Lake Shore Drive (US 41): Exit LSD at the Fullerton Parkway exit. Take Fullerton West approximately 0.5 miles.Take a right onto Clark Street, heading North. Turn left on Deming Place to the end of the block. St. Clement’s will be on your right and the parking lot will be on the left.
Directions to Cultural Center from St. Clement:
Go West on Deming and take a right on Orchard. Turn right on to Wrightwood, take a right on Clark and then take a left on to Fullerton. Merge on to Lake Shore Drive going south for just over a mile. Take the Michigan Ave. ramp, stay straight on Michigan and take a right on Randolph St. The cultural center will be on your left, right there on the corner of Randolph and Michigan. The Cultural Center spans the block on Michigan Ave., between Randolph and Washington and has entrances on both streets.
There are 2 parking garages very close to the Cultural Center:
1) The Grant Park Parking garage at 25 N. Michigan Ave.
2) There is another large garage at 25 E. Randolph St.
If you'd like to use the city's fine public transportation system, there are a few buses that will get you very close to the reception location. Buses aren't very frequent on the weekend, so you may have to wait for 10-15 minutes. The ride is should take about 20 to 25 minutes.
-- The "22" or the "36" CTA buses pick up at the corner of Clark and Deming (just a block east of the church). The 36 bus will drop you off at the corner of Washington and State, right across the street from Macy's and then it's a short 2 block walk east to the Cultural Center. The 22 bus will stop at the corner of Washington and Clark where you can walk 4 blocks east to the Cultural Center.
-- If you decide to roam Lincoln Park after the ceremony, you can pick up the " 151" CTA bus at the corner of Fullerton and Stockton. This bus will drop you off at the corner of Washington and Michigan, right in front of the Cultural center.
