There are a so many things to do while here in the city.
Chicago's famous Millenium Park is right across the street from the reception site and it would be a great thing to explore before cocktail hour starts. --Lincoln Park Zoo:
Located just a few short blocks from the Church, the Lincoln Park Zoo is a favorite of both tourists and locals.
--Green Mill Cocktail Lounge:
Jazz - dixieland, traditional, bebop, contemporary, progressive - played by legendary figures as well as young lions. Located in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood, The Green Mill was actually patterned after Clark Monroe's Uptown House in Harlem as it was during the '40s.
--The Museum of Science and Industry:
Located on Chicago’s south side, The Museum of Science and Industry boasts educational exhibits for the whole family.
--Chicago Architecture Foundation Tours:
Whether on bus, boat, bike or foot, these tours spotlight more than 50 architecturally significant sites where you will discover a new perspective on the city.
--Navy Pier:
One of the number one tourist attractions in Chicago, Navy Pier has shopping, a giant ferris wheel and boat cruises and tons of resturants.
--Second City:
A gem of Chicago, The Second City comedy club has been around since 1959. There are shows on both Friday and Sunday nights. Tickets sell out fast, so be sure to reserve yours before getting to town.
